Jacob Subler, our high school intern, received a 20 Under 20 Award at the annual Awards Banquet held on April 25, 2018 at Romer’s Catering in St. Henry.  The 20 Under 20 Awards are given for the purpose of giving recognition to Darke, Mercer, and Auglaize County students, schools, and businesses who work collaboratively in the training and/or career development for individuals under the age of 20.  Since Mote & Associates  encouraged and directed this opportunity for Jake, our firm was  also honored at the banquet, as well. In recognition of National Engineer’s Week, Mote & Associates, Inc. and the Greenville High School Engineering Tech Prep Class taught by Christopher Sykes and Adam Eberwein collaborated for the 10th annual Engineer’s Week Challenge. The Mote team mentored the students as they worked on their designs of a balsam wood Boom Crane Structure. Then they served as judges in the annual Engineer’s Week Challenge which consisted of the construction and breaking of the frames by different teams of students in the class. We would like to congratulate Mike for being named the Darke County Chamber of Commerce 2013 Citizen of the Year.  Mike has and continues to be involved in many local organizations and spends countless hours volunteering for projects throughout the community such as Main Street Greenville, Darke County Chapter of the Red Cross, Community Improvement Corporation, and Boy Scouts of America.
